Mission Statement Plus

This site serves purposes greater than solving an obscure treasure hunt of marginal social interest. The spirit of this site represents the prioritization of objective truth over subjective preferences and justifications, and in the process replacing focus on self with the acknowledgement of universal truths available for favorable application by any willing participants.

Cognitive manifestations within the online sphere of Secret investigations reflect a microcosm of society at large. Within modern society in general, a culture of confusion, ambiguity, self-focus, contradictory standards, and subjective determination has in many respects replaced the acknowledgement and application of universal and unchanging certainties. Speaking reality into existence has replaced objective investigation and acceptance. Asserting dominance, demanding conformity, and denying basic fundamental rights to prioritize irrational social concoctions in the name of tolerance, unity, and diversity which in turn breeds intolerance, division, and unnegotiable singlemindedness, is inexplicably justified despite a wide range of disastrous results. Emotionally motivated fixations on combating injustice incubate comparable or greater injustice. In this context, social goals are defeated in the name of reaching them because satisfying a personal internal state takes precedent over actually fixing a problem.

For some, an intellectually imperceivable void exists between the supposed intent behind socio-political initiatives and the resulting outcomes in diametric opposition to foundational principles. How does including and excluding people as a result of physical characteristics rather than their content repair a long standing condition of including and excluding people as a result of their physical characteristics rather than their content? How is mandating the consumption of an experimental vaccine indicative of honoring individual medical choices? How is wishing harm and death onto political opponents a product of love, tolerance, and unity? How can you advocate for increased gun control while celebrating gun violence?

How is diversity achieved through suppression, aggressive conformity mandates, and childhood indoctrination? How is “democracy” upheld by voting for a candidate who bypassed democratic processes to get there, or supporting a presidential administration ran by unelected officials? How can you denounce divisive and irresponsible political rhetoric in one breathe while baselessly characterizing your opposition as hateful, supremacist, racist, misogynistic, phobic, Nazi terrorists in the next? How is crushing someone else’s skull because their existence is inconvenient a product of “health care”? Why are young children targeted by predatory indoctrination campaigns, promoting liberal perceptions of gender directly associated with adverse mental health outcomes, in a supposed effort to improve mental health outcomes?

We fight for the “voiceless” while unjustly dehumanizing those with no voice. We fight for the rights of one person by denying them to another. Fighting racism often involves weaponizing race in situations where race was previously not a discernable factor. Women, who we can’t identify objectively anymore, are allocated the authority to decide who is a human and who isn’t, but not who belongs in their locker room. We fight for the “freedom” to celebrate the murder of a free speech advocate who invited ideological adversaries into rational conversations. Long lasting cultural institutions inexplicably bully their customer base into excepting politically motivated content reform and inferior product offerings despite collective backlash and disinterest…then wonder why they are failing. We can engage in acts of gender based antagonism such as accusations of “mansplaining” even though independently identifying who the “men” even are by “woke” definitions is a hate crime.

Just like society defeats intended goals and favorable outcomes they claim to be fighting for, the community of Secret investigators are succeeding more in keeping casques hidden while needlessly cultivating an endless condition of predominantly untethered speculation. Citing facts and making intellectual arguments is an “intolerable” expression of “superiority”, while personal insults and attacks are not. Digging thousands of holes for 9 unsolved cases based on loose, inaccurate, and unprovable associations to the source material is how we eventually “solve a puzzle”. “Solving” the puzzle only happens when we find the casque, meaning we find the casque before solving the puzzle required for finding the casque.

Asking pertinent questions that potentially compromise prevailing narratives constitutes “thinking too hard”. Rules and standards are commonly applied as a defense mechanism with no apparent obligation to personally comply. A subjectively crafted, 43 year old treasure hunt called “The Secret” cannot deviate from conventional expectation or assumption. Incoming questions are designed for applying fiendishly clever evasive manuvering and defensive strategies rather than clarification, transparency, accuracy, and honesty. A trained communicator cannot communicate the answer to his own puzzle, and any blame for investigative stagnation is placed squarely on his shoulders.

We convince ourselves that aggressive denial and a ‘head in the sand’ approach changes what is true. We think that the best argument we can conceive changes reality. That’s not how it works. We don’t speak reality into existence, only God is capable of that. Things are not true and false based on what we believe or think. If truth is real, then truth is an external condition uninhibited by subjective perception and sheer will. But in most cases people would rather feel offended then live better and help others more effectively in the process.

If truth is real, whether you believe it or not, there are real consequences. In the case of The Secret, the worst thing that happens is you miss out on a casque and feel a little silly. But what about situations where there is no plexiglass box to pull out of the ground to prove you wrong? What about situations where “seeing” how wrong you were carries irreversible consequences? At what point is personal accountability the priority? At what point do we challenge what we believe and what it is based on?

The overall goals of this initiative are simple, clear, and humanitarian in spirit:

  • Combat untruth with facts and evidence
  • Help people be more right and more successful
  • Illustrate more direct and effective problem solving strategies
  • Correct, rebuke, and reprove, speaking hard truths in a spirit of self-less love
  • Illuminate the evidence for unseen truths accessible to all interested parties
  • Apply lessons learned from The Secret to social, political, spiritual, and personal discernment
  • Lead any interested party into a relationship with Jesus Christ

I know it may seem like a giant leap to go from a treasure hunt to Christianity…but its not. The inherent truth seeking principles that govern the successful interpretation of a competently communicated puzzle apply equally to other facets of life, in particular to spirituality.

Thousands of conflicting ideas asserted subjectively create the illusion that objective truth is inaccessible or non-existent. Source material language is manipulated and distorted beyond recognition for self-serving reasons that ultimately compromise the intended instruction and theoretical outcomes. Subjective justification is prioritized over objective investigation. Individuals failing to achieve anticipated results defer all blame and accountability beyond themselves. Challenging the objective basis of beliefs while promoting the knowable condition of a singular answer is received with animosity and vitriol. Skeptically minded outside spectators find the entire exercise hopelessly ridiculous. Large segments of the population struggle finding what they aren’t actually looking for because they are chasing perception and preference instead of truth. So, am I talking about The Secret…about Christianity…or both…

Obviously, Christian apologetics could (and does) populate a significant corner of the internet, social media, and the academic realm, so any abbreviated discussion can only take us so far.

Here’s the short version. There is one true God and one spiritual truth. That truth is not valid because I say so, but rather it exists independently of any individual and is discernable to objectively operating parties. This is why “scientifically” minded, raging Atheists regularly convert to Christianity. Alternative beliefs or mass confusion in no way, shape of form disproves a singular, inevitable, undeniable truth. Believing that the truth is “unknowable” is intellectually invalid because one would have to “know” that truth is “unknowable” to assert it factually.

Just like one DNA test as opposed to millions can prove who your earthly father is, a thorough and honest analysis of Biblical scripture can prove who your Father in heaven is and how to know Him, without an individual assessment for every belief system or variation thereof. The Bible is proven on a historical, scientific, prophetic, social, and practical level. Scientifically confirmable statements from Biblical texts detail conditions only officially discovered hundreds and thousands of years later. Geographic and historical details of the Bible once otherwise unsupported are periodically and consistently proven accurate. Prophesies written hundreds or thousands of years prior to the corresponding event or circumstances are validated to the letter.

Biblical doctrine is unlike any other religious text, defying human tendencies, human philosophies, and compromised brands of human logic, despite supposedly being written by humans. If the Bible was written for the primary purpose of institutional control and manipulation as some contend…then it was written completely wrong. The Bible makes an awful lot of spiritual promises a fake God can’t keep. Instead, Christianity is predicated upon observable and measurable results otherwise inexplicable. Speaking for myself, God does a lot of things for me I cannot do for myself. Telling me my God doesn’t exist would be like telling a sitting person their chair isn’t real.

When the more empirically testable details are consistently corroborated, we shift focus to testing spiritual promises. At a certain point, we don’t have to micro-analyze every aspect of the Bible for the same reason we can believe a light switch works without being an electrician or tearing apart the wall. The Bible calls it evidence of the unseen. If the light goes on…the system works. If God faithfully answers His promises in a manner and to a degree unlikely or impossible to result from a dictionary definition “coincidence”…then God exists and the Bible is true…all of it.

Unquestionably the most common impediment to objectively decerning spiritual apologetics originates from a sense of pride. If money is the root of all evil, then pride is a close second. In our hubris, we want to decide what is true and what isn’t…which should sound familiar. A common misconception is that Christians believe because they want to, although oddly enough, the institution of humans persistently shocked, amazed, and confused by their findings and just as susceptible to error, bias, operational misperceptions, and political infiltration as any other institution of humans is inexplicably immune to the same condition. True Biblical Christians don’t have to change their beliefs in the event a new discovery is made…but on the other hand “science” is constantly pivoting upon new discoveries. Which condition appears more indicative of subjectively motivated falsehoods?

True Christians are motivated to do and believe a lot of things they simply don’t want to, in opposition to the impulses and preferences of our flesh. So, how can Christians “die daily” to themselves yet be guilty of subjective fulfillment? That doesn’t seem to support “believing what they want”. Maybe there is a real power and real consequences that motivate the beliefs and behaviors of the plugged in, born again Christian. If I decide gravity is a myth…gravity wins. If I decide childhood cancer doesn’t exist…I can implement no supportive measures. My Uncle Deke decided he could drink excessive amounts of alcohol, smoke daily, and still live to 100 “like George Burns”. My Uncle died of kidney failure and sorosis of the liver in his 40s. “Deciding” things we have no authority over comes with a price.

The most important aspect of Christianity is engaging in a relationship with Jesus Christ by asking Him to be your personal Savior. The consequence of our sin, without making a conscious confession of belief in Christ as Lord and Savior, is permanent separation from God and spiritual death.

Initiating a relationship with Jesus through Biblical salvation has profound implications beyond avoiding hell.  Professing Christ as your personal savior is like turning on the main breaker of an electrical system for the first time; accessing a power already in place but otherwise unavailable.  When we stop trying to be god ourselves, God allocates a limitless supply of world changing power to otherwise undeserving vessels. We can experience a profound, otherwise irrational sense of peace and joy only limited by our willingness to receive it. Personal needs are often inexplicably satisfied without even asking.

The following Gospel explanation by no means offers a comprehensive analysis of salvation doctrine, which in many cases is needlessly corrupted and diluted through religious misinterpretation and institutional narratives, so please do your own investigation.  What I am offering here is simple and concise Biblical communication that clearly establishes our only hope of spiritual survival beyond physical death and a direct connection to The Father.  So please, follow these simple steps to secure eternal salvation and a personal relationship with Christ:

Acknowledge your sin condition.  All have sinned, no one is immune, all are equally condemned in this condition.  Sin is like an untreated stain; no matter the size, the entire article is compromised.

Romans 3:23- “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

The consequence of unaddressed sin is permanent separation.  God cannot be in the presence of sin, much like water’s natural aversion to oil.

Romans 6:23- “The wages of sin is death…”

Isaiah 59:2- “But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.”

Sin entered the world through the freewill act of Adam and Eve, is activated in each of us through freewill choices, and can only be undone by a freewill acceptance of Jesus’s freewill sacrifice on the cross. Jesus paid the consequence of our actions.

Romans 5:12- “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.”

The condition of grace we are offered does not signify a “free pass”. Salvation is impossible without repentance, while turning from sin is not defined as perfect execution of intent. Salvation requires a heart of repentance while freely sinning is not indicative of repentance.

Luke 13:3- “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”

Acts 2:38- “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”

Jesus is the only way to collect our intended inheritance in Heaven. Not by default. Not by other religions. Not based on good works or bad works. Not based on what church you belong to. Not by vague acknowledgement. Only by personally calling out to Jesus and accepting Him as your personal savior.

Romans 5:17- “For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.”

Ephesians 2:8- “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”

Believe in your heart and confess with your lips.  Sincerely and specifically ask for forgiveness and it will be given. Believe on Jesus and ask Him to be your personal Savior.  Jesus suffered unspeakable horrors so you wouldn’t have to.  The blameless begotten Son of God suffered what should have been your consequence.  Allow His sacrifice to have the intended effect on your life.  No one enters Heaven by any other method.

John 3:16- “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Romans 10:9- “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

John 14:6- “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me.”

Once you are “saved”, it cannot be undone.  The Bible characterizes salvation as a spiritual “birth”.  Birth is a specific event which cannot be reversed.  While some attempt to teach that eternal salvation is potentially temporary dependent upon post salvation sin, there is no Biblical or remotely spiritual basis for such a misguided contention of compromised human understanding.  God makes it clear that our salvation is based on “grace” through “faith”, not our “works”.  If your works didn’t get you saved, your works can’t keep you saved either.

Ephesians 2:8-9- “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works lest any man should boast.”

John 3:3- “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

John 10:28- “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”

If you are ready to accept Jesus, then talk to Him. Admit you are a sinner. Acknowledge the penalty for sin. Express belief in Jesus’s death on the cross as payment for sin, and resurrection three days later. Repent of your sins and ask to be forgiven. Ask Jesus to be your Savior. Accept the gift of salvation. Exclusively trust the saving power of Jesus and nothing else.

Salvation initiates a perpetual process of renewal, correction, and improvement.  An all knowing omni-present God, manifesting as the Holy Spirit, is instantly accessible and can personally interact, instruct, guide, and support all willing followers simultaneously.  When the relationship is maintained and instruction followed, countless others can likewise be introduced to the same love, peace, guidance, and belonging. That’s where the treasure is.
